Capitola Dog Owners Group (C-DOG) is a volunteer run non-profit organization that exists to provide: Education regarding sensible dog ownership and off-leash exercise options; Good news about dogs in the community; Support for local pet non-profit organizations; Support for dog friendly positive training methods Santa Cruz County and Monterey Bay community enhancement; Access to beaches & parks and to have fun while being with our dogs; "Making the community richer through sensible dog ownership"!

Dog Beach Now is an alliance of responsible dog owners from Venice, Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades who are working together with the community and city officials to create a designated off-leash dog beach where people and their dogs can recreate and socialize. Dog Beach Now is requesting that a one-mile stretch of Dockweiler Beach be designated as an off-leash dog beach.

Dogs on the Beach seeks to establish access for dogs to California State Beaches in Mendocino County (and elsewhere). Sign their petition in support for unleashed dogs to have access to CA State Beaches with certain restrictions.

DogZone by THE HAUTE DOG organization (pro-nounced "HOT") is a diverse and growing network of dog owners, lovers, educators, rescuers and supporters. Our common bond has resulted in a unique and lively community of folks who share some qualities of our favorite dogs: devotion, spirit and tenacity. Supports off-leash areas in Southern California.

Freeplay is a group of dog owners, their friends and supporters, has been working to establish off leash dog areas in the Los Angeles area and has been successful with the creation of the Westminister Dog Park. We are working strongly to gain access to the beach in LA County as well as more off-leash dog parks.

Friends of Lighthouse Field sprang to life March 26, 2002 when about fifteen concerned dog owners came together to talk about the update to the General Plan at Lighthouse Field State Park. Each of us spends valued time at the park on a regular basis with our dog(s), and we recognize the importance of organized participation in the General Plan Update process.

Friends of the Redondo Beach Dog Park is dedicated to preserving and expanding safe, responsible, off-leash access for dogs. 'Friends' works with the city of Redondo Beach location to develop and maintain a safe, off-leash recreation area.

The Long Beach Recreation Dog Park Assn. is a nonprofit organization to raise funds to maintain and improve an area of Recreation Park and the Dog Zone at the beach where pet dogs can be exercised off-leash.

Sacramento Dog Owners Group is committed to increasing opportunities for off-leash recreation for people and their dogs in Sacramento County, especially in open space and along our rivers, while promoting safe, respectful and responsible dog ownership.

Roseville Dog Owners' Group (RDOG) was founded in 1996 by a group of local residents who wanted to make Roseville a more dog-friendly community. Through their hard work and dedication, Roseville now has the Marco Dog Park and another dog park is scheduled to open in West Roseville sometime in 2004.

Unleash the Beach is a grass-roots community organization which now encompasses Santa Monica Dog Owners Group. We are being represented by the law firm of Loeb and Loeb for our 501c3 filing. We are part of the Dog Beach Now Alliance, affiliated with like-minded organizations in our sister cities--FREEPLAY in Venice and PaliDog in Pacific Palisades.
