SFDOG's Scoop de Doo

  • San Francisco, CA (map)

SFDOG’s Scoop de Doo, a San Francisco dog park clean-up event, is happening on Saturday, May 9th, in dog parks all over San Francisco. From 10am - 12pm, folks will gather at their own neighborhood dog park for a group-led clean-up effort. SFDOG will supply some basic cleaning supplies like bags and gloves.

Last year, more than 200 people participated at 15 parks and recreation areas from McLaren Park to Stern Grove to Alamo Square. Not only did we fill dozens of trash bags with poop and litter, we also cut down foxtails, weeded, mended fences, and filled holes. Perhaps most importantly, we showed that dog lovers are good neighbors and stewards of our parks and recreation areas.

Let us know if you or your organization would like to participate in Scoop de Doo on Saturday, May 9 at your local park. Contact us at scooped@sfdog.org.
