Nancy Pelosi Publicly Supports Dog Access in the GGNRA

Thank you to Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi for her support of off-leash dog walking in the GGNRA.

On Monday, December 2, 2013, Pelosi sent a letter to GGNRA Superintendent Frank Dean in which she supports the long history of off-leash dog walking in the GGNRA. She calls on the GGNRA to carefully consider the concerns of San Franciscans about the GGNRA's proposed dog management plan (which will restrict where you can walk your dog off-leash by about 90% compared to where you can walk now), and that they fully consider the wide-ranging consequences of the plan, including impacts on city parks (something they have yet to do).
